Violinist Responds to Mobile Phone Interruption

You've seen it happen before. You're enjoying a concert, a play, an opera, etc. enjoying the often brilliant performances until somebody's cell phone goes off and disturbs the soundscape. Sure, maybe you're used to this type of thing happening in other social contexts - not quite sure how to react. Often, uncomfortable (even agitated) glances are shared between audience members seeking some sort of social cue as how to react to the situation.

Usually the performers keep on doing their thing and the whole thing blows over; sometimes the "elite" performers won't stand for such disrespect and stop playing. Then...there's this violin player, Lukas Kmit, who responds in spectacular fashion toward the interruption. I have embedded the video below so you may see for yourself.

Lukáš Kmiť is playing a recital at a Jewish synagogue in Presov, Slovakia. An amazing bit of improvisation follows an interruption.
