Crescendo

ADVENTURES IN GRAD SCHOOL:
My, oh my, how quickly time flies when you're having so much fun!

Okay, as the semester comes to an end I felt that I really needed to update my blog. I really dont care who reads; honestly I actually haven't told many people about this venture of mine. Leaving off of that, I certainly didn't have the easiest of times this semester. Its really all on my own actions but I grew arrogant out of an initial self-assurance.  I'm severely disappointed in myself for the work I did but I really have to use this to push forward into a better outcome. Since I have begun to study the philosophies of Buddhism I feel better on the whole prospect within a greater cosmic scale.

With that said, I cannot wait to move forward into my future classes and really prove to the Universe my competence. I will also be teaching two of the first-year English courses this time so I will certainly have a lot to bear (rawr!). It was pretty cool seeing my name as an instructor in the online course catalog.

I will have to end this post already due to some other endeavors I still have to complete. I will be back and I will be writing more -- this I promise! Also, look forward to an upcoming blog of mine as I travel to New York this summer and provide a travel(b)logue of sorts.

Until then, farewell my anonymous internet friends

-- Richie

UPDATE: So I received feedback on the essay I felt I did worst on this semester. It earned an "A" so....Wee!

Congrats on completing your first year of grad school!! That's a huge achievement and you should be very proud. I'm proud of you and also very impressed since you tackled the TA program on top of all your classes. I will get to experience that in the fall, so I'm gonna hit you up if I need advice and so forth. I know you'll be a great instructor. Just enjoy it and learn from it.

I think we all dropped the ball on a few things this semester. It's just something we all have to work on. Time management is one of the hardest things to improve. But anyway, congrats again! Have a fun time in New York! :D

Thank you Mari, so very kind! Of course I will be willing to help you out with anything you might need help on next semester. You'll have to share with me what classes you'll be taking (not really in a public venue for strangers to see) and see if we'll be taking anything together. P.S. I plan on keeping a New York Travelblogue for the trip. I'll link it up soon.
